This position will provide spectrum management support for the Defense Spectrum Organization through the Joint Spectrum Center and will support the areas of DOD spectrum management training and testing software application systems.This position will be responsible to coordinate all aspects to conduct SPECTRUM XXI (SXXI) training classes: set up class dates; develop the attendance lists and track attendees; ensure potential trainees have the appropriate user accounts on both the training and production systems; ensure the host sites have the necessary connectivity to the training system; ensure the training manual is updated with approved customer changes after each class; provide instruction to the trainees. This position will be required to assist with the creation and implementation of testing plan for upgrade of the software client application to include preparation of test plan, creation of test scripts and scenarios, running testing scripts and reporting results. This position will be required to evaluate operational concepts and implementation strategies with NTIA's Federal Spectrum Management System (FSMS), SPECTRUM XXI Online (SXXIO) and third party software providers, such as the Spectrum Planning, Engineering and Evaluation Device (SPEED). This position will be responsible to interface with both DoD and other Federal Government Agencies and provide potential modification strategies for SXXI.Required Experience: Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 5-8 years.Candidate must have strong communication skills, ability to work well on diverse teams.Candidate must be able to generate professional documentation, DOD style presentations, provide oral presentations to DOD managers and external organizations.Knowledge of DOD and National spectrum management systems such as SPECTRUM XXI and Federal Resource Record System.Previous IT experience a plus.Experience working with DOD programs, and military experience is also desired.US Citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is requiredClearance Level Required at Start Date ClearableMinimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or EquivalentPercent of Travel Required N/AWork Status Full-Time
